Fishing

Going fishing in Scotland could not be easier. But, before you go, you must have permission from the owner of the fishing, or his agent. This will usually be a permit bought at the loch, river or local tackle shop.

Guests are permitted to fish outside both our houses for rent, on the banks of the River Tay.

Game Fisheries

Close to Balmerino, in the Northeast area of Fife, there are several fly fishing spots, all 40 minutes maximum by car from The Ice Barn and Wester Kirkton. Fishing is for rainbow and brown trout.
